Research Interest:
Currently, my research lies within the broader domain of workplace sustainability, focusing on how organizations create conditions that support long-term employee well-being, engagement, and performance. My research broadly draws on behavioral theories like Job Demands–Resources (JD-R), Conservation of Resources (COR), Expectation Confirmation, and Organizational culture theory to explain how organizations can influence outcomes such as burnout, quiet quitting, commitment, and employee engagement. Research in the domain provides a contextual lens to understand how sustainability and employee development are embedded within practices like Green HRM and career development systems. Working on these theoretical foundations has enabled a comprehensive understanding of how leadership, HR practices, and organizational culture help in fostering sustainable workplaces that align employee well-being and organizational performance. In addition, I have also worked on the broader domain of technology adoption, focusing on how individuals evaluate and accept digital innovations in different contexts. Drawing on frameworks like the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) and Behavioral Reasoning Theory, the research has examined the cognitive and behavioral mechanisms that drive technology adoption decisions—whether in the context of medical tourism applications or AI-enabled performance appraisal systems.
